Conserving Water on the Green at TPC Stonebrae

August 14, 2015

Did you know that golf courses and parks only use 1% of potable water allotted for agriculture in California? Here at TPC Stonebrae, we’re taking proactive steps to manage water use – and have been since the inception of our course. By monitoring greens daily with soil moisture meters, incorporating wetting agents into our fertility applications, hand watering localized dry spots, developing specialized programs based on specific problem areas and using a computerized system that provides control capability for each sprinkler on the course, we’re doing our part to help use water more efficiently.

We are committed to meeting all the restrictions on water use that have been mandated by the Governor’s Office this year, while still providing the best possible playing  conditions on the green.
