The Stonebrae Classic Returns to TPC Stonebrae!

July 3, 2015

We’re thrilled that the Stonebrae Classic returns to the David McLay Kidd-designed golf course on July 16th through the 19th.

Watch this new generation of players bring their best game to the Stonebrae Classic—all in pursuit of earning one of 50 PGA TOUR cards. By competing in the Tour, players have the opportunity to maximize their potential and achieve their dreams of playing on the PGA TOUR. The majority of the players here will be on the PGA TOUR one day, so you are witnessing their climb to the top.

The beneficiary for the 2015 tournament is The First Tee of the East Bay (TFTEB), whose mission is “to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.” Currently, TFTEB serves over 600 kids in Oakland and Hayward through after-school and summer programming.

In addition, the Stonebrae Classic has partnered with Youth on Course. Net proceeds from the 2015 tournament will fund a four-year Youth on Course collegiate scholarship, which will be awarded to an East Bay high school senior. The partnership has also introduced a Youth on Course internship program.

Whether you participate in the Stonebrae Classic at TPC Stonebrae or come to cheer on the competitors, we would love to see you there! Purchase your tickets, sign up to volunteer or get more details here.
