Grazing in the Grass

March 26, 2015

Herds of sheep have returned to assist our overall invasive weed management solution. In an effort to preserve our community’s beauty while helping its ecology thrive, we use natural remedies to combat invasive weeds. The sheep are more than glad to help. We ship them in, set them loose on our hills and let nature take its course.

And does it ever! In areas where they have grazed in previous years, the weed population dropped by a huge amount. The weeds they’re eating aren’t garden-variety greens either – the sheep mow through plants that could spread to swallow other greenery if left unchecked. They’re a much healthier solution than any machine or chemical. These eco-friendly assistants will be on site through March 30.
