The Stonebrae Classic Is Back

June 23, 2014

We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that after a one-year hiatus for the Stonebrae Clubhouse construction, the Stonebrae Classic is returning to the Tour this summer. Just in time for perfect weather and terrific golf course conditions, the Stonebrae Classic will be played from July 28 through August 3 at the David McLay Kidd-designed TPC Stonebrae. 156 players competing over 72 holes of stroke play are expected to please Tour players and Bay Area golf fans alike. With an overall purse of $600,000, and the winner taking home $108,000, it is sure that the players will be attacking the fairways and greens.

And with a mission to give back to the local community, proceeds from the tournament are earmarked for The First Tee of Oakland as well as other Bay Area charities that participate in the tournament’s volunteer program.

We’re excited to host this wonderful event and look forward to enjoying a great golf tournament on our green again.
